Nowadays everyone is able to publish his words online, and we often see a lot of information and news in different websites, some of them are true and some are lie.
As an internet user of course I don’t trust everything online, but on the other hand I do believe a lot of websites, for example if I’m looking for a recent news, I usually go to a famous newspaper’s official site, or a famous news channel website, which became so easy to get to the official sites of them, so from these official websites I can get real information. Also there are plenty of websites which give the users fake information, especially when it comes to selling products, they give you fake information to get you buy their products, and in many cases it might be so dangerous for people.
Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia on internet, which you can find a huge number of articles about almost everything, so it consider as an important reference for anyone, but at the same time no one can believe everything on this website, because it can be edited by everyone, so some time there are some people who try to mislead others by posting a fake information, so when any one wants to get information from this website he must be careful and he should see the references of the article he read.
At the end, this is a websites which any one can check from them about any information he got from other websites, all you have to do is to search about your subject, if you found nothing you can contact with them to make them look for the true answer by consulting a specialist for you.

I do agree with you. As you said Selling products, give us fake information to get buy their products. It is absolutely true. Most of the time when we open shopping websites, we see some of the websites use slick to get you buy their products. Here slick which says: ‘product is limited so order at once’. So it means these websites are fake as well as their information. Because of the genuine company’s websites don’t use slick. They always give the needed information about the product and never force you to order any product.
yes i totally agree with you about the Wikipedia and i remember the lecturers used to tell us not to relay on this website to get information because sometimes it is written wrongly in away that people will understand the opposite.
but you can also know what website you can trust by looking at the URL because when it is ending with .org / .edu then it is an official website but .com or .net you need to make sure of the information you get from there.
I totally agree with you. but the good side is the time people start to understand and difference between the trusted and not. i mean like you can see if the website is trusted or not. then you can check the information inside it.
